Stone Restoration & Conservation

This is one of the cornerstones of masonry. Titan has accrued decades of experience in our home town of Bath, which has a rich history of stone architecture which stretches back centuries. The restoration and conservation of buildings is crucial to maintaining Bath's world heritage status and ensuring our city can be enjoyed for many years to come.
Covering a wide range of tasks and skill sets – stone repairs, piecing in, repointing, lime washing, shelter coating, stone cleaning and paint removal to name some. Right from the outset we are keen to strike the right balance between what is in need of urgent attention, what needs a little life breathed back into it and what is fine left undisturbed. Minimal disruption, maximum serenity.

Masters Church

Crossman group contracted us for the full clean down and restoration of Masters church in Kingswood, Bristol. Breathing life into a once burnt out derelict church which they converted to flats. The finished project was most impressive.

St Denys

The original church in Warminster is a Saxon minster church dating back to the 10th century, and has been re-modelled over the years. We undertook the sensitive restoration project on various parts of the building.

"In 2015 following falls of internal lime rendering, it was discovered that there were serious faults to the exterior walls of the building.

Titan Stonemasons were appointed to carry out the repairs to the interior and to also re-point the external parapets and gables and to re-lead and re-fix the moulded exterior coping. The job was carried out very efficiently by Titan – and to budget – and I would have no hesitation in recommending them."
